• The Story of Postscript Living

  • After spending three decades as a reporter, editor and publisher, Patricia Pickett made the leap to what some of her journalist friends refer to as "the dark side" as a public relations professional. For more than a decade, she has worked with clients ranging from start-up entrepreneurs to nationally recognized park systems. In 2010, she launched Pickett&Associates, LLC.

Meanwhile, in a parallel universe, Lee Lonzo was an educator, coach, athletic director and administrator at Carmel High School. He retired in 2007 to work as an educational consultant. Today he serves as the director of Champions Together, a partnership between the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) and Special Olympics Indiana. In that position, he proudly leads the #InclusionRevolution, working with student athletes throughout the state.

The duo joined forces after a particularly delicious Thanksgiving dinner in 2006 and were married in 2016. During those 10 years, their mutual love of discovering regional food, traveling off the beaten path and meeting new people has taken them from the Acadian National Forest in Maine to Lourmarin, France. Also during those 10 years, they've experienced real life -- from caring for an aging parent to the births of nine grandchildren, and lots of drama and trauma, love and laughter in between.

PostScript Living serves to let us share our experiences ... beyond our social media pages and individual "brands." And if it inspires, informs, educates or makes you smile, then we've succeeded.

As they say in both New Orleans and Paris, "Laissez Le Bon Temps Rouler!"
